So I drew a spoopy ghost for Halloween. OoooOOooooh!~

It's actually my OC, Aldridge Ariel Ashton. Duke over Ash Lake and Ash Lake mansion.

I wanted to practice my digital painting skills. That will say, painting without lines or lineart in that sense.
I wish to grow as an artist, so I tried. ;u;

Quick facts:

(I basically choose the name "Aldridge" because in Swedish "Aldrig" means "Never". Very negative name for a grumpy ghost.~)

Name:Aldridge Ariel Ashton

Title: Aldridge Ariel Ashton, duke over Ash Lake and Ash Lake mansion.

Nickname: Al. Ally. (He prefers to be called Sir, your highness or Mr.Ashton.)

Age: Born January the 1st in 1753. So he's 262 years old.(He was 17 years old when he died)

Gender Male.

Appearance:

-Long, thick and curly hair. In a white color.

-His iris' color is light blue. He have big and staring eyes that's on the verge on being creepy. His sclera is black and his pupils are white.

-Small, pouty mouth with thick upper lip. He is grumpy and pouts almost all the time.

-Slim body, v-shaped.

-Pale and almost white porcelain skin. (Ghost! Duh!)

-5'5 feet.(170cm)

-Aldridge is luminous and slightly transparent.

-Have earrings. Two golden rings in each ear.

Personality:

Aldridge is a very grumpy ghost who doesn't want anyone near him or his house. He is bitter.

He spends his day walking around his mansion as if he were still alive.

Al is very sassy and egoistic as he only cares about himself. He was a spoiled brat when he was alive, so it formed him as a person.

He thinks himself is the most important thing in the world.

So that makes him hard to get to know. Unless you like him and flatter him, he won't like you. So suck up to him, and you will be his best friend basically!

He doesn't like the new modern world and tries to ignore it completely. That is also a reason to why he scares away people who try and get inside his mansion. He doesn't want anything to change or be moved. Not even a single dust speckle!

Aldridge have a strong obsession over his dead body, and he won't let anyone get near it. If that would happen he would take on a more frightening appearance as a true poltergeist and freak out for real. Probably hurting whatever person is getting too close.

His dead body is still laying in his bed in the bedroom in the highest tower of the mansion. It's nearly decayed into nothing but a skeleton and the funeral flowers around it have wilted, but he still keeps them there. And he guards the body almost all the time. He will get furious if anyone gets remotely close to his bedroom.

Ghost facts:

Aldridge died at the age of 17, on the morning of his wedding day.

He was to marry a Victoria, by arranged marriage. Aldridge did not mind about the set up and would just take his life as it came. He did not mind his parents telling him who to marry, since he had never been in love either way.

But it was rumored that Victoria had a crush on the stable boy, and that they decided to run away together. Before the couple ran away together, they agreed to poison Aldridge so their powerful families couldn't force Victoria into marriage if they were caught.

Even though everyone suspected the escaped couple, nothing was ever proved and no one was charge for his murder. No one knows who poisoned the young duke.

Aldridge is easily angered, but he's not a particularly dangerous ghost. The few abilities he have is to become invincible, but it is hard to manage. And he can move objects, if they're small. And only a little bit. He can also go through doors and walls if he concentrate.

So it is pretty harmless abilities so even if he screams and make a dramatic scene, he can't do much. Only have a tantrum.

The Ash Lake Mansion:

Aldridge lingers in the mansion that he owned in life.

No one have yet bought the mansion, since it is rumored to be cursed and haunted, so nobody wants it. Even if it is sold for a ridiculously low amount!

Aldridge still sees the house as his and do not want intruders. The people who are trying to sell the mansion has come in to modernize the kitchen and add bathrooms. But before they could do anything else, Aldridge scared them off. He is still upset over the change and avoids those rooms.

On later days, the modern society is expanding, and the city is getting closer and closer to his house as they build new buildings. So his old country mansion is in the middle of town now. Which is why he nags at people walking by. (Even though hardly anyone can see him.)

Roleplay story:

I would want your character to be human, to really bring out contrasts in both characters! c:

Either way, your character can be a paranormal investigator who had heard of the haunted Ash Lake Mansion. Or they could be a person who bought the cheap mansion and tries to move in.

And then your character can move in and clean up and move in furniture and stuff. Which won't sit well with Aldridge!

Someone call Kylie Jenner and tell her there is a new pout queen in town. Bam! Boom! Pow! Look at that all natural pout. Is it from never smiling for 200 years? XD I would have him model lipstick colors.

You did great for not using any line work. I like painting like this. It reminds me of painting in real life. I'll usually have a light pencil sketch on multiply until I have some defined forms. I like this style you should experiment more with it.
